Gucci Books

An educational gift for fashionistas who love luxury labels, it looks like designer labels love publishing books on itself as much as we love reading them. I couldn't resist starting with "The House of Gucci" by Sara Gay Forden as the author chronicles the true story of murder and greed within the glamorous Gucci dynasty.

"Gucci" by Gucci is a limited edition 85th anniversary celebratory publication that came out in 2006 and retails for USD$ 350. It has pictures and details of everything Gucci from the luxury label's very own archives. Comes in a Guccisimi embossed case. This coffee table book will make a chic addition to your library.

"Gucci: The Making Of" by Rizzoli is a limited edition 90th anniversary celebratory publication that came out in 2011 and retails for USD$ 240. It features original essays and pictures on Gucci's origins, identity, craftsmanship and innovation. Cheaper paperback versions of the book are available for USD$ 85. Makes for a good read as it's all new stuff.
