Sutha's Cafe & A1 Indiamart

My order from A1 Indiamart, only one bag of groceries this time. Fresh juices, pink guava and yuzu.

Ching's Chinese Indian or chindian food products. The instant soups, dried noodles, chili sauce, dark soya sauce, szechuan stir-fry sauce and szechuan chutney. I thought these were related to BBC food show host Ching but as it turns out it isn't related at all. 

Toasted spice peanuts, I think its supposed to be 3 different brands but they only delivered 2 types. It's actually more like Mexican peanuts.

Chaat Masala or spice mix for fruits, something different from Chinese spiced chili powder for fruits. Or at least that's what I thought, still needs to be used in cooking, cannot be eaten raw. Betel nuts that I am going to experiment cooking with.

Spiced tea that I can't wait to try, should be like marsala tea. This brand has several different types of spiced tea available.

My order from Sutha's Cafe (food court), marsala tea and vadai, no need to go to Little India for this anymore.

Hoshino Coffee

After McDonald's McGriddles I was still craving the perfect pancake and ordered it online from Hoshino Coffee, never tried this place before but it promises soufflé gourmand pancakes.

I ordered the beef steak plate that comes with mini pancakes and half an order of seafood bisque spaghetti that comes with mini shitake mushroom soup. For dessert there is strawberry mille feuille and yuzu brewed tea.

The pancakes are really yummy, dense & holds its shape well even with pancake syrup, cream butter and steak jus.

More cream butter, this time strawberry flavored for the mille feuille dessert. Strawberries are not soo sweet but the pastry shell & custard creams are. You can hold it in your hand and munch on coz it doesn't beak apart easily.

Fast Food Delivery for Lunch

 

Home delivery from Burger King, 2x burgers & 2x drinks to share, 4 sides and 4 desserts, plus mexican wings to share we each get one wing. Making the effort to get back to portion control, just 20 years ago a side & a drink was all I needed for lunch.

Dimsum @ $3.50 per portion, it's a lot of meat. I love the freshly steamed chee cheong fun best. Crispy tofu skin comes a close second. $35 for the whole meal including delivery.

My orders of Allswell preserved drinks & jiajia liang teh, going very local by getting these health drinks.

More painkillers and counterpain balm/gel, when will this end? I recently found out not all chinese medicated oils have painkillers inside so I switched to counterpain.

Group Lunch from Stuff'd & MHY

Ordered wraps from Stuff'd that comes with side orders of mash potatoes or buttered corn and canned coke or lemon tea. Costs about $10 per person. 

The burritos here are TDF! Try it with dirty rice and habanero sauce, I think guacamole is an additional $2. You will be coming back for more.

Also ordered my favorite snow ice desserts from Mei Heong Yuen in various fruit flavors. Total came up to around $8 per person, quite expensive for desserts but totally worth it.
