Dior Books

"Dior" by luxury publisher Assouline, is the latest 3 book set on Fashion, Jewellery and Perfume. An excellent coffee table book on the epitome of French fashion houses that is Dior. Published in 2012 and retails for SGD $100. Of course Assouline also carries many publications on the house of Dior from "American Dior" to Dior's 60th anniversary book. 

The first book on Dior Fine Jewellery "Dior Joaillerie" is co-authored by Victoire de Castellane herself. Published in 2012 and retailing for SGD $100 at select bookstores, I've seen it at the Dior boutique as a coffee table book for customers to peruse.

For the star struck, Rizzoli publishers have come up with a "Stars in Dior" book by Jerome Hanover, featuring glossy pictures of movie stars dressed in Dior from 1948 to present day. This 2012 publication retails at select bookstores for SGD $85.

For more upmarket tastes, Rizzoli published "Dior Couture" in 2011, documenting all the couture gowns ever made by the house of Dior over the years, including designs from Christian Dior himself. Retailing at select bookstores for SGD $150.

"Backstage Dior" by Roxanne Lowit with foreword from John Galliano, captures 10 years of John Galliano at the helm of the French fashion house. A photo journey of the backstage events and works of Galliano as captured by American photographer Roxanne. A not to be missed epic 2010 publication retailing for SGD $170 per book at select bookstores.
