Paul Boulangerie

I first tried Paul Boulangerie at Dubai Airport. The freshly baked pastries and nicely brewed coffees made for a comforting in-transit meal. Prices of $6.50 for a pastry are to be expected in an international airport.

So I was excited to try the branch at Ngee Ann City, Singapore. To be fair, the pastries and desserts are still delicious using classic French recipes and the crepes are above decent. However, the breads and all day breakfast meals leave much to be desired. Prices start at $16.90 for a croque monsieur, so I expected much better.

My advice is to skip the meals and just have the desserts here.
