Magnetix II

Hooking up my friends with the best deals on magnetic nail polish in town.

I bought China Glaze's Magnetix II plate to supplement the in-cap designs found in magnetic nail polish. China Glaze sells the magnetic plates seperately and there are 2 plates or 6 designs available. Nail polish $20, nail plates $18, buy from Accendo.com.sg. However, I got mine from an Orchard road pushcart for $8 each, plate and nail polish.

Nails Inc, the original magnetic nail polish. Retails for $26 and comes with 1 in-cap design. Buy from Sephora or LookFantastic.com a UK site with free international delivery.

This is the one I tried at Vedure Nail Salon, Gelish Magneto nail polish. I paid $30 in addition to the gelish manicure $60 on top of a regular manicure $45 and then another $10 to remove the gelish in a subsequent session. The bottle itself retails for $55 and comes with 1 in-cap design. Great deal from thatbeautyshop.com where you can get a bottle for $38.50 with free delivery.

There are other brands like Sally Hansen, LCN, Layla and Thinkgeek that sell magnetic nail polish. However, these brands are not as common in Singapore. And it does get cheaper with Qoo10, Golden Rose Magnetic Nail Polish $8.90.
