There are 2 great restaurants in Singapore that we head to on days that we have to be vegetarian. Original Sin and Lingzhi. The lovely food smells waft out from the restaurant enticing passer-bys to reconsider their lunch options.
Their best mock meat dish is the sweet & sour pork equivalent. The texture and taste is the same as done with pork shoulder.
My favourite is the fresh Rojak topped with tempura enoki mushrooms. Lovely sauce, crunchy fresh vegetables and fruits...the perfect salad.
