Tonkichi Tonkatsu Curry

I had cravings for the fluffy chicken chop and for variation, decided to order the Japanese curry version. I started my dinner with a platter of sashimi and green tea before the main dish arrived. The chicken chop didn't disappoint, it was fluffy and light with almost no fat. drenching it in Japanese curry was fantastic as the sweet & mildly spicy Japanese curry complemented the tender sweet juiciness of the chicken. I also love mixing the Japanese preserves with the curried rice to throw a little saltiness into the meal.
