I passed by this place once during a busy lunch hour to be swathed in lovely spiced aromas from the piping hot dishes the waitresses were busily bringing out. The true authentic taste of Siam can actually be had in Singapore now, at this place. All in a quiet, calm oasis hidden away on the top floor of Mandarin Gallery.
This is something I have never had before in Singapore, a betal nut leaf and lotus petal wrap that takes 5 seconds for the full flavours to present themselves to you.
A fiery main course in the middle.
And a traditional Thai pumpkin dessert at the end. A dessert stuffed with spiced custard and best served cool with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
