Pahang Weekender

Pahang is the 3rd largest state in Malaysia and a common holiday place for Singaporeans (Genting and Cameron Highlands are located here). This mountainous area is known for its cool weather and beautiful scenery, when you want to take it slow and relax.

The new resort everyone comes here for is Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi. Tudor style residences and marketplace complete with a clock tower.

It's not often you can find durians for sale in a medieval town, its the season now.

The local drink here is made from roselle flowers, tastes almost like ribena.

Recommended local produce is Bentong Ginger, a really strong spicy version of regular ginger.

Visit to a local tofu factory, where you can see how its made and taste the final product.

Then we moved closer to the ocean to stay at Laman Pesona Resort & Spa, hillside villas with a sea view.
