Mid-Autumn Festival

Today is also my Dad's Bday!

The mid-autumn festival goes by many aliases; lantern festival, mooncake festival, Full Moon. They all describe how the Chinese celebrate this day. Traditionally, you drink tea and eat mooncakes (lotus paste in a baked pastry), light a couple of lanterns and have the children play with fire. All whilst admiring the full moon (always appears on this day).
