Leaf Pies

My colleague in Japan gave our department 2 boxes of Leaf Pies. Handmade, preservative free pastries from West Confectionery in Ginza Japan. It owes it yumminess to mountain milk from the Tohoku area. The pastry is folded into 256 layers by hand and shaped into a Leaf. No wonder it tastes like freshly baked french pastry.
