Day Out @ Ngee Ann City

Lunch at Marvel Superheroes Cafe that was really delicious, I am soo surprised. The novelty food decorations are something to look forward to, I was expecting the food to be average at best but it turned out really good.

Jewellery shopping season has commenced. This year is National Museum's 130th anniversary commemorated in a gemstone bangle you can buy from Lee Hwa Jewellery. This year is also Poh Heng's 70th anniversary commemorated in a two-tone gold & diamonds collection.

I always stop by Kinokuniya book store for its largest selection of books in English and all other Asian languages. This time around the store is promoting <Origin> and several comic books currently playing in the cinemas.

Bought some Crabtree & Evelyn biscuits, kinda different from before, but still good.

Checking out the display in event center.

Spent most of the day inside Takashimaya, the largest tenant at Ngee Ann City.

They sell designer labelled kids clothes here. If you can find a larger size, adults can wear it too.

Every year Takashimaya launches a new Rose Chan Doll, its always limited edition.

Takashimaya Food Hall in the basement just outside Cold Storage. Japanese bakeries are the best, I always get some buns whenever I pass by this place.

Dinner at Coca Restaurant, new location opposite its old location.

It's Thai style hotpot with a sweet garlicky dipping sauce. The signature item is fish glue that is like fish cakes but stuck on a plate so the waiters have to do a presentation to place the ingredients into the hotpot for you.
