Transformers: Age of Extinction Movie

I watched this @ The Cathay with my dad courtesy of Duracell, in 3D no less! We had just watched the previous Transformers movie on TV when I received a text message invitation for the latest movie, talk about timing. This 4th installment of the Transformers movies has all new human counterparts and shifts the focus to man-made sentinels built based on Decepticons. 

Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2014

Balenciaga's Spring/Summer 2014 collection is incredibly structured. I always liked this fashion forward brand's style and here we see all that avant garde tailoring in feminine dresses and light colours. It's almost conservative and lady-like for The Jetsons that is.

Resort 2014 is mostly black & white in shorts & capris. Tops are cut a little wider around the tummy area for all those buffets you will be chafing down.

Balenciaga Menswear this Spring/Summer is classic for the brand, formal biker jackets & tux shirts with no sleeves, come on, who doesn't want these clothes.

Estee Lauder's #1 bestseller is made for every woman regardless of your skin type and age. My mom uses this and now I do too. It repairs the skin overnight, removing minor signs of aging and replenishing moisture loss although it's not a moisturizer. $150 for 50ml retail size.

The bottle cap is actually a dropper and the serum has the texture of oil. Massage it into the skin and leave it on through the night for best results. Wake up to better skin is the tagline and I agree my skin is visibly better the next morning. Suitable for young to middle-aged adults.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf  cafe for sandwiches & salads during lunch. Today, I am having wraps that is healthier (less carbs)? The cashier refused to swipe my member card as there was "no point" did he mean no points for using the card payment or no point in swiping the card into the machine. Long Q so couldn't be bothered to argue with him.

Supermarket Contests

I usually ignore the flyers along supermarket aisles as it's usually contest forms or roadshow gift redemption. Recently, some of my neighbors actually won some stuff so I decided to give it a try. These 2 months it's all about World Cup Fever, so lots of sports paraphernalia and vouchers. I entered all the contests from Giant, Cold Storage, NTUC Fair Price and online, it's the equivalent of cash coupons as its the only thing food manufacturers give here in Singapore. Given the number of contest forms I sent out, I better win something or the general belief that food brands don't actually give out all the prizes will ring true.

Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Age Reversing Cream

We head back to Estee Lauder classics to rediscover Advanced Time Zone Day cream, Night cream and Eye cream. I didn't get some of that oil-free Hydrating Gel to try. The packaging is lilac and the contents are either pinkish-lilac or white in colour as well, very soothing to use and see. 

I am more of a night cream person, living in the tropics I don't put on moisturizer in the day unless my skin happens to be extremely dry. All the products in this range provides overnight moisture boost and visible improvement to wrinkled skin after 1 week of use (the ads say 5 days). I don't have wrinkles so I can't really tell how effective this is, it's meant for older folks like my mom.

Pasta Sandwich place with artisan lemonade/root beer. Main courses are named after cities so you can have a Mumbai sandwich with tandoori chicken, Tokyo Pasta with seaweed & raw tuna and so on, cute concept.

Service can be quite slow during lunchtime.
