Estee Lauder Double Wear Mascara & Eyeliner

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-place Eye Pencil does what it says, no smudges to clean up after, it sets by itself in seconds. It goes on the lid easily with a creaminess even though it is a pencil. The rich colour lasts for 12 hours. Available in 7 different shades, the one I have is 01 Noir (black). $40 each.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara also does what it says, no mistakes to clean up after and your lashes get lengthened. It lasts 15 hours, resisting heat, humidity & even a little water. Available in black or brown. I would keep the brush even after use, as its a really good bristled comb for applying mascara nicely. $52 each.

Supermarket Contests Tip #5

Request for separate receipts during checkout. That way you can staple each receipt onto each contest form, simple and fuss-free. This will take the cashier some time so I like to shop during off-peak hours or use the self-checkout stations instead.

Valentino A/W 2014/15

Valentino looks like it has a set of dress patterns for all its collections. The high collar, long sleeve, full skirt look that screams antique classic but updated with a twist.

Only this season the prints used are dots and lines (sea urchin?), darker botanicals and colour block quilt that point to a more rural, low-key look that Fashion Houses seem to favor these days.

What's noteworthy this season are the kaftan style dresses and botanical print fur coats.

Valentino Menswear weaves another kind of down home look, featuring Native American prints & colours.

A big comfy coat with traditional Native pattern, is just soo heartwarming.

Kronenbourg Beer Tower

This amazing beer tower is courtesy of Kronenbourg Beer. I am not one for beer towers, however, if I do get one, it has to be this one.

Standing height of over 1m, in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, there are 4 beer taps (instead of 1), central core that holds ice to keep the 3L barrel cool and the whole thing lights up. The box is soo big coz of all the spare parts it comes with.

You'll be seeing this at my next house party.

Yellow Submarines

I saw the long Qs and read the reviews, Yellow Submarines appears to be the latest food chain selling cheesesteak sandwiches and cheesy fries.

Cheesetopia!

It's like $10 a meal and desserts comes in bite sized portions wrapped in baking parchment (too quaint!). The coleslaw is really sweet too, its the raisins.
