Faberge Imperiale-class Eggs

I know its past Easter but these 2016 Faberge Eggs are all that and more, perfect at anytime of the year. For the first time in almost a hundred years, Faberge made 5 imperial - class eggs for sale.

The Pearl Egg $2 million usd is a two-tone gold egg that opens up revealing a rare grey pearl.

The other four eggs costs $2.96 million usd in total or $740,000 usd each. The "Four Seasons" collection of bejewelled eggs feature a presentation plate and ring within. It's like getting proposed to every time you open it.

Faberge's current collection of fine jewellery for sale captures the surprise within in these necklaces. But if you ask me, its actually the charm bracelets that I want to get. Prices are not cheap, starting at $2,000 for an enamel egg charm that can go up to $44,000 for a diamond encrusted egg charm.

What really interests me are the antique style jewellery that Faberge still makes, for example this 2012 emerald Romanov necklace based on an 1885 design. The necklace comes apart in 3 pieces, a choker, a statement necklace and a pendant that can be re-attached to the choker.
