The Chanel minaudiere is definitely on my wishlist. It's quirky, high fashion and a new design comes out every season. Starting from $4,000 it can go up all the way to $40,000.
I think I will get whatever is available in stores when I do see it. Usually its sold out really quickly. If anything it makes great decor for a walk-in wardrobe.
Another covetable fashion bag are the Hermes diamond minaudieres. The diamonds and gold mini kelly minaudieres are available in rose gold or yellow gold with 2 different designs to choose from. Rose gold coz it complements tanned skin well and yellow gold to complement traditional gold dress or Indian wedding jewellery.
Hermes has a modern urban alternative, the Chain d'Ancre diamond minaudiere. It's not in gold but regular blackened metal and thousands of natural diamonds.
A diamond minaudiere that has been out there for a while is the Ginza Tanaka platinum diamond minaudiere with detachable necklace and brooch.
Another diamond minaudiere out there is the Mouawad tri-coloured diamond purse called "1001 Nights" also known as the most expensive purse in the world. You can put an iphone inside so its a practical size.
In case anybody is interested, Mouawad has a diamond jewellery box for sale called "The Flower of Eternity", it can only fit one necklace set and a few more rings.
