Dian Xiao Er delivery

Dian Xiao Er the place that sells herbal duck now does home delivery! There is also free soup of the day for 2, I really like the soup coz it goes with everything else and also the boiled peanuts at the end make a good mid-day snack. I only ordered half a duck coz a whole duck can feed an entire family.

Total cost is S$83 including bubble tea, iced peach tea or regular milk tea, both with bubbles. I also ordered the large portion of Mongolian spare ribs coz its available boneless at no extra charge, would like it to be a little more crisp and less mushy.

On a different day, I ordered from Sakae Sushi next door to this place. Lots of torched sushi for S$65. The chawanmushi is best left cold and fried kakiage with Indonesian style spicy sweet sauce is soo much better than tempura veges.

Easter egg, hot cross buns and sparkling juice from M&S! That egg is better than a floral arrangement coz I can eat it.

Sushi Takeout

Some of the meals I've had since the new year. Made the coloured pasta into chicken cobb salad & seafood salad. Tried making bacon avocado twists that unraveled, not soo easy rolling bacon around things and having it baked out that way.

All salmon sushi takeout that costs S$30. I find the price quite reasonable for torched salmon that tastes very salmon-y.

Guardian Pharmacy delivery of painkillers and Chinese medicated oils.

Axe Brand Oil also produces other brands of medicated oil like Red Flower that is red in colour and Gold Medal. I bought a bigger bottle of Siang Oil (from Thailand) that stings like chili padi. Tiger balm @ half price, hoping these joints/neck ones work the same as the balm.

Jumbo pack of Panadol 120 caplets. Guardian has Extra or Optizorb available in jumbo packs. This purchase will hopefully last me 2 months.

Redmart x Lazada

I ordered everything from Redmart x Lazada, there is free delivery and $12 discounts on first few orders. Choosing a delivery slot is supposed to be free but you have to pay premiums or have several items missing. The final amount was almost $50 over what I initially thought I was paying.

Sashimi grade salmon, that is the description given on the website. I bought these Hellmann salad dressings for it and the offer was buy 2 get 1 free, but the 3 items got split into two bills and I ended up paying full price on all 3 bottles. Frozen chopped dill, I was afraid the fresh version wouldn't survive and dried is always not as good.

I also bought sausage meat, candy cheese, plain flour. The candy cheese is used in making cheese balls in Korean pizza or wings takeaway, its crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, cannot find the korean flour they use but here are the cheese fillings.

So all this is just one meal, minestrone soup from The Cellar Door, marinated boneless chicken in smoky bbq & cajun with artisan farfalle pasta, UFC watermelon juice. Pasta cooking cream, shredded cheese mix, sliced avocados & sweet corn kernels, I assume my fridge already has the other ingredients. For dessert there is my favorite Wall's Solero Ice Cream Sticks & mango-tamarind candy.

These desserts are too nicely packaged to be eaten and will be given away. Gin Thye Rabbit Rolls, its regular swiss sponge cake roll with cream but the rabbit brand milk candy packaging is soo vintage-cool. Merlion salted egg cookies, pack of 4! I thought I only bought 1 pack. All the merlion tea is also on clearance, I didn't get any coz I prefer boba milk tea these days.

Lovisa.sg

This is an accessories brand with an online shop in Singapore. I found out the Island Shop no longer carries accessories so I tried out Lovisa to see if I can get some resort or tribal stuff. Be careful coz GST is charged after checkout. First-timers get 20% discount.

This order was mostly sale items, but I did get 2 necklaces @ full price. It's this wood raffia necklace and this silver-looking plastic necklace.

These are all sale items, leopard print natural wood disc necklace, raffia bangle, antiqued statement necklace in not Rastafarian colours as there is no green, tortoise shell chain necklace I have never seen or owned real tortoise shell before.

5 items for $15. Antique lion button earrings, looks like buttons from an old tailoring shop. Kid's enamel earrings that look like lemons. CZ lace ring and two gold-looking rings in bee & moon, I love the gold-ish rings that look like signet rings.

The CZ doesn't stop there, I bought 3 CZ statement necklaces in scarf, cascading waterfall and butterflies. Then there are these 2 statement cuff bracelets in black CZ, its sold in white CZ but not sure where I would wear that too.

Lovisa has hair accessories as well, black spiral hair ties for everyday use and one blue-purple hair comb in rose-tone. I bought this rose-tone dreamcatcher statement necklace, I used to have a black one that broke. This pearl cameo brooch is only $5! Pearl Face earrings that I saw on Zalora.sg.

I put together 8 looks from all the accessories. The first one is the Italian style face earrings with tortoise shell necklace and bee signet ring. Everything here is very lightweight (plastic) and trendy, I can probably find that same necklace in Michael Kors. I like that the ring is non-adjustable size, like a proper ring.

Look #2 is this statement necklace that looks like Van Cleef & Arpels Bouton D'or collection. The goldtone on the edges is scrapped off and some of the yellow beads are missing, considering how meticulously packed in between bubble wrap this came in, I cannot imagine how it happened. Paired with antique button lion earrings and moon signet ring.

I have a blue & pink corporate wear outfit that I was looking for a hat or something to complete. Then I found this rose-tone hair comb in dusty blue that is perfect. Matching dreamcatcher statement necklace with irridescent crystals, I wasn't planning on wearing a statement necklace but this is good.

There are some black crystals on the tribal silver-looking necklace that would go nicely with a pair of black crystal bangles. 1 or 2 ovals on the necklace are wiped clean of blackened highlights, dunno how to add it back in, hoping its not obvious.

The lemon stud earrings go with the raffia bangle and raffia necklace. I am happy with the look it creates but does it also look like table mats? Also will it get mouldy? It's actually very difficult to get resort style accessories.

CZ scarf with leopard print wood necklace. Think the scarf will be worn as a belt instead, still need something to secure it down with.

2 remaining CZ necklaces with ring & brooch. The butterfly necklace is a little smaller than expected and lies completely flat against the skin like a crystal tattoo. The elongated necklace is half CZ & half beads asymmetrically joined together, not what I expected. However, it does look like the Gold Souk necklaces of the same kind, only in white crystals instead of gold.
