New Restaurants @ Zhongshan Park

Stackz, a new pancake place. I ordered Creamy Mussels as an after thought and it turned out to be unbelievably delicious.

Passionfruit cooler, I like this fruit after trying out all the tea mixes, its not soo good on its own.

Salmon Avocado Crepe with cream on the side and no cheese. It's ok I guess but for $16.90 that's the same price as in Europe and avocado toast is the latest food trend there right now.

NewUbin @ Ramada Inn promises to be the best Zhi Char in Singapore and its about the same standard as any seafood restaurant in Singapore. I ordered Red Dot mocktail $9 just a dollar more than fresh coconut.

Punggol Mee Goreng $15 had just the right wok hei flavor even with fish cakes inside its still pretty tasty. And the Squid YouTiao $10 is stuffed full of meat, it's crispier coz its cut smaller than usual.

Something a little different is the Foie Gras Satay, just one stick served with raspberry sauce that goes nicely with it $9.

There is now Starbucks and McDonald just outside my place, no need to travel to Orchard Road / Shenton Way for it anymore. I actually stumbled in on opening day 👌🙌🙏. Now this place is like any other generic shopping center.

Gong Cha / Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Foodpanda delivery from Gong Cha @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital. $25.50 for 4 large size cups of bubble tea.

I ordered for myself Ginger Milk Tea with pearls, herbal jelly and red bean. It's Teh Halia with red bean and the herbal jelly is very mild tasting, pretty good dessert. The other one is Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3J or pudding & aiyu jelly & pearls.

Lychee Oolong Tea with Aloe Vera one of my favourite teas especially when mixed with fruits. And Passionfruit Green Tea with Rainbow Jelly, similar to the one at LiHo lots of seeds from the passion fruit.

Foodpanda delivery from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf @ TTSH too. Its a pasta set lunch for one person $25.30 and an extra sandwich $10.90 for later. Portions are kinda small-ish.

Original Herbal Shop

Foodpanda delivery from the Original Herbal Shop @ Balestier Road. I ordered Kwai Leng Guo or herbal jelly one of its signature desserts $8 and Mango Sago dessert $4.50.

I ordered regular herbal jelly and they sent along the mentholated version that just adds to that TCM flavor. Needs more sugar syrup but I managed to finish it in one sitting. This tastes more like Aussie food than anything else, not meant to be minty.

More Aussie food, the mango is fruity and not soo sweet and there is no "soup" or pudding here, just fresh milk and boiled sagos.

From Breadtalk there are desserts in a cup (2 for $10) and snow cake ($10.90), just needs a rabbit sweet wrapper around it.

I ordered Sakura Aiyu Jelly Yuzu Tea and Korea Tea. The sakura jelly is very mild and the white tea is quite light, tastes more like a mixed drink than tea.

Passion Green Tea and Korea Tea again. There are lots of seeds in the passion fruit and the green tea used is slightly floral, not bad might order it again.

Rochor Beancurd House

Rochor Beancurd for teatime and it really is the best beancurd pudding ever! I ordered mine cold with 8 Treasures $2.60 and ate up the whole thing in an instant. Grass Jelly drink with bubble pearls is the cheapest available $2.20.

Street snacks are also available and I bought one of each to try. Fried butterfly fritters, salted fritter, red bean fritter $1.40 and flaky egg tart $1.90 that is almost as big as a fritter.

Some dianxin items, Glutinous Rice that only had peanuts, no meat or mushrooms. Crystal Dumplings one of my favorite items.

Fried Taiwanese Chicken Chop and Squid in chili spices. Just look at that oil soaking through the paper.

INDLine North Indian Restaurant

Foodpanda delivery from INDLine @ Keong Saik Street a well known foodie area filled with eateries. I ordered from this place because it has lunch bentos, I am not familiar with what all the Indian dishes are called.

Lamb Bento of fluffy naan bread, dhal and mutton curry. The dhal tastes like porridge with a lot of broken grains and slightly spiced with Indian herbs. The mutton jalfriezi was very oily with a soy sauce base, still tasty especially with the naan bread.

Mango Lassi a fruit yogurt drink. Here it tastes like mango pudding without the pudding and its served in a bowl.

Vegetable Pakoras are deep fried veges served with a mint yogurt dip. The curry leaves actually tastes like hair perming lotion. I love the Indian spice and crunchiness, perfect for snacking anytime of the day and this spice mix here tastes just like muruku.

Jeera Aloo a type of dry Indian spiced potatoes. This is not spicy but has lots of herbs including fennel.

Rasmali dessert made from condense milk, slightly different from Gulab Jamun.
