Start of the school holidays!
This Malay eatery has outlets in food courts island wide. I finally get to order my Nasi Ambeng platter from this place for home delivery. Pricing is also the most reasonable at almost half of my other orders.
Best part is this place has malay desserts and kueh that we all love soo much! I ordered a mix of malay kueh, goreng pisang and jongkong that is liquid creams of pandan, gula melaka and coconut milk.
The pre-bottled drinks are all syrup mixes in either clear with some sort of fruit or milky mixed with condensed milk. No hot drinks or brews though.
Side dish of lemak pucuk ubi or tapioca leaves stewed in coconut milk that is not commonly found here. This nasi ambeng platter has the usual stuff you find @ food courts like rendang, ayam lemak chili padi (chicken in coconut & chilis), begedel (potato cutlet), achar (pickled veges), ikan bilis kacang (fried tiny fish & peanuts), serunding (grated fried coconut with spices), sambal goreng jawa (tofu cubes & green beans stir-fried), paru belado (beef lung), terung belado (brinjal)
