New Supplies

Ordered some new supplies for myself including plain drinking water. You have no idea how much of a lifesaver this is, ordered it before and am bringing it back again. Also ordered sparkling water in sweet flavors. 

Multi-purpose cleaning spray from Method. I had the glass cleaner before and it was a great help for computer screens, mirrors, windows. Changing to multi-purpose coz I think it is more appropriate for what I actually use it for, spot-cleaning around my area.

Finally got my medical heat pad, was relying on temporary heat packs that people use in cold weather countries for their hands. This is a total game-changer. So are bird's nest dessert drinks, I receive it every now and then and its greatly appreciated.

Free gifts from this order are baby body lotion, eye cream, face cream, pair of cups. As if the discounted prices are not enough. 

Frozen Dim Sum Breakfasts

My favorite breakfast these days is fluffy white char siew baos, soo sweet & hot. Eating a lot more sweet foods these days.

Different types of dumplings including the popular siew mai & har gow.

Deep fried items, carrot cake and yam ball. Also had plain rice rolls with sweet sauce + chili and glutinous rice.

Tingkat Meals

Started on a 2 week tingkat food delivery service that promises home cooking or 菜饭 stall dishes everyday. It's 3 dishes, 1 soup and 1 rice for $20 and its enough to feed a family of 4 people. I like the variety coz I get to try everything, so far the veggies are really tasty (can be eaten on its own).

Dates Palm Fruit

I bought different fresh dates to try, the sizes and prices are about the same. Its even from the same supplier brand Syed.

Starting with the black bag of Oman premium dates, very classic and familiar to me with its deep red color. Its dry to the touch but very dense & sticky inside with a rich date taste. I would put this at moderate sweetness.

Next is the colorful bag of Tunisian dates with seeds removed. Its really sticky to the touch and on the inside. But this tastes like liquor dates or something like that. The bag zip doesn't work, packaging error. Sweetness level is one step above or just sweet.

Big box of Tunisian dates, sweetness level is the same as above. This is packed with the branches intact. Its dry to the touch and dry on the inside, seeds come out cleanly. My choice for setting up charcuterie or cheese board.

Small box of fresh honey dates, sticky on the outside and inside, comes packed with a fork. Its also really soft and mushy, perfect for baking. Sweetness level is incredible, I wouldn't use sugar when baking with this. 

Letters From Afar

I was reading about Flower Letters where you can receive letters like magazine subscriptions and live inside a Jane Austen novel or Bridgeton TV series. The bi-weekly letters come in the mail with stickers, drawings and so on. 

I found another similar subscription service that delivers internationally Letters from Afar that follows my 'friend' Isabelle on her overseas adventures. I will receive monthly letters about a foreign country, complete with maps and fun facts. 

Each illustrated letter hides mini symbols for you to find, like the lucky cats in the Tokyo letter. I actually look forward to these letters even though its not good value like a magazine or newspaper. Just feels more heartfelt and personal.

Health Matters

Switched to Yu Yee oil recently after receiving it as gifts before. Its a red oil that smells of nutmeg, pleasantly aromatic. With the burn and pain relief of regular medicated oils. The tin can packaging is great for gifting, I feel bad about throwing it away.

Changing my food choices to better quality rice or noodles, getting tired of can soup and instant noodles already. Why not porridge or salads & sandwiches in place of biscuits and can meat? Still cannot live without soft drinks.

One month of medication looks like this. Usually its 1 or 2 packs from different brands, this is the most I've purchased so far. This brand of painkillers include appetite stimulants that I need coz no mood to eat anything at all. No food = no energy, how to survive and be OK?

HongKong goldsmith shop selling the cutest jewelry around, free delivery with minimum purchase. Most of the yellow gold are gone and restocked recently in red gold. 

Found a pair of red gold earrings to buy, slowly building my red gold set that has a pendant necklace, a Hello Kitty ring and now butterfly earrings, gonna find the bracelet next.
