New Bed (Part 2)

After numerous problems with my new brass bed, including the center portion caving in due to lack of support. I have purchased a new bedframe & mattress from Robinsons.

Black metal bedframe in queen size as I already have a white metal bedframe in single size. There's not much to choose from if you don't want the natural wood look.

Thickest pocketed spring mattress available, planning to get a mattress topper later. Didn't get the hybrid mattresses this time around coz its quite expensive.

Some more things I have been using and want to recommend. Medicated Oil Plasters that pack more intense heat than regular medicated oil. Ginseng to counter health symptoms, obviously this one is not compatible, so I have some left.

Saw 2 more metal bedframes @ FortyTwo.sg worth considering. Kitty Cat Ears in green and Seashells in gold.

Birthday this year...

Classic fresh cream strawberry cake from Chateraise, I like it even better when its still cold.

 

I requested to have caviar and my sis-in-law bought some for us to try. One is more intense in flavor than the other.

Fresh Durian

It's durian season and I bought it in these freshly packed boxes as durian husks are difficult to dispose of. Has to be fresh coz if it's frozen I'll rather get the cakes & puffs instead.

The very popular & expensive Mao Shan Wang (cat king) that I had to try along with a few other varieties available at this durian seller like Red Prawn, Bola, King Kong, Old Tree KP. All the premium durians have strong durian flavor and more fruit less seeds. It's also mostly bitter! Except Red Prawn its sweet and not bitter.

The popular durian variety last time was D24, now there is D101 & D13, not sure what's the difference. There's also Xiao Tai Hong, Susu. Milder in durian flavor there's sweet (D13), sour (D101), bitter (XTH), firm (Susu).

New Bed Delivered

 

My mdf wood bed got replaced with a metal frame bed. It's really difficult to find an all metal frame bed and in a larger queen size, so its about what you can get from the furniture store ready-made.

The really comfortable alternative is this rocking chair I have been using. I can sit on it all day and with the footrest I can sleep in it. Fits plus sizes.

My medical heat pad actually needs replacing too, it burned a hole right though the cover and also my bedsheets.

Plug doesn't work on my oxygen machine, someone setup an air purifier in my room that is supposed to clean up the haze, apparently it helps with my breathing.
