Vatos Urban Tacos

Korean Mexican food and they also sell that new Mexican soda Jarritos. I ordered kumquat and grapefruit but they sent me cola and lime, such classic flavors no complaints from me.

Carne asada quesadilla! Anything carne asada always tastes the best and they do the quesadilla here really compact with cheese, onions and sauces. Served with pickled cabbage, not kimchi tho'.

Baja fish tacos that is really Korean, with soft batter fried fish and tons of white cabbage topped with salsa.

Thank god for Jarritos soda, loving those straws, wish there was more.

Subway Sandwiches

I love this place for the freshly prepared sandwiches, today its classic club sandwich with almost all the extras coz there is no extra charge for extras like olives and pickles. You can choose from 6 different types of buns, I also tried the wraps (prefer kebab wraps instead) and flatbread that is like spongy naan.

Side orders of sweet corn that I ate up in an instant. Meatballs without pasta that still came in pasta sauce with unmeltable cheese. These meatballs are similar to smaller dense meatballs sold locally and that pasta sauce is all tangy herby tomatoes.

I also ordered the tomato soup that not as tangy as the pasta sauce and has some other veges in it, carrots I think. The mushroom soup is very shroomy but kinda watered down and starchy in texture.

I love subway cookies! There's choc chip, double choc, white choc macadamia, raspberry cheesecake, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter. It's soft and dense, really sweet too.

Fave Foods

Cannot find Cambodian unripe pickled fruits in chili salt here in Singapore, this is the next best thing, frozen fruit bags.

Croissant sandwiches are not as common as waffles or buns but it still can be found at some bubble tea takeaway counters. 

Vietnamese skewers and pickled veges. I am addicted to these pickled veges and can eat it on its own as a snack.

Iced tea mixes as well as soda water mixes that I am absolutely obsessed with right now. All non-alcoholic, cannot drink alcohol when my body is not well.

Zhi Char main dish meats, I eat this like meat candy for tea-time or supper. $15 as compared to $5 from bubble tea shops, almost the same thing for much less.

Cambodian Street Food

With 7 Wonders Seafood Restaurant, I finally get to try Cambodian street food at the same time as all the other people there. The dry roast squid with dipping sauce reminds me of Isan Thai herbal chicken soup, ordered the honey pork ribs to mix the dipping sauce to make it more palatable, if not I recommend eating it with rice. TDF!

Cambodian BBQ platter with dipping sauces from Siam Kitchen. Nice grilled meats and the salad used to mop up meat sauces is delicious. The dipping sauces are quite authentic and kinda not necessary, I feel like I should have it with guava or other types of fruits instead. There is a sweet salty chili, a mayo cream and a tamarind spice.

This is northern Thai sausage (sai ua) that is a blend of herbs and pork, and Isan sausage (sai krok isan) that contains fermented pork and rice. Both orders cost S$15 each from Beerthai House Restaurant @ golden mile complex. So far prices of these dishes have been almost the same as Cambodian markets but these sausages are easily double the price. 

This one is Thai street food, not Cambodian. Mama instant noodle seafood salad, its like som tum but with additional instant noodle seasoning. Its a main course on its own, I cannot wait for pickled fruit to come back, its been closed for a while.
