Suk's Thai Kitchen serves Chiang Rai cuisine and has quite a variety of dishes on its menu. I ordered the spicy minced pork salad, the seafood salad and the papaya salad to mix into a giant salad bowl and it was good. That's 3 dishes at SGD$50 when just 1 big bag from Thailand street stalls cost under USD$10. Still have to mix it myself!
I ordered a second time from this place mainly for the turmeric tom yum chicken soup. I ordered main courses grilled pork shoulder and krapow seafood, as well as appetizers pork chitterlings and prawn crackers with red and green sauce.
The tomato mince meat red sauce for the pork chitterlings tastes more like Italian pasta sauce (that I mixed into the krapow seafood coz it was really spicy). The chilli dip that came with the grilled pork shoulder turned out really well with the pork chitterlings.
Turmeric tom yum soup is quite Indian as are the lime sodas, soo excited to try these foods that are new to me. Other than that Suk's Thai Kitchen actually tastes like the Thai food I used to have on holiday in Thailand.
Thai iced coffee that is really strong and not as sweet as the tea version. They have 2 types of lime sodas here, salted or rose and both are equally refreshing. The drinks here are pretty good, am really happy with it.
