Sticks & Stones / Omakase Burger

Sticks & Stones is a new place at Safra Toa Payoh that sells loklok or sticks of meat & veges like satay, instead of peanut dipping sauce you get dipping chilis. 

I ordered the takeaway set that is actually 2 of everything for $50. Comes with free pickled coleslaw. My favorite is the chicken skin followed by cheese tofu.

Omakase Burger from Orchard Central, I have never eaten there before. My order of 1 burger set cost $35 including delivery and comes with homemade lemonade, truffle fries, burger and 2 free cans of beer. This gourmand version of McDonald's BLT is worth the extra money for premium ingredients.

Kei Kaisendon @ SQ2

On one of the rare occasions I actually managed to go out of the house, it was actually for a medical appointment and I didn't have any appetite for food after that.

Kei Kaisendon has these little bowls of chirashi that are really delicious. Totally full after this meal, didn't think it was possible.

Ordered takeaway for tea-time / dinner from another eatery nearby.

Lorna made me an ice-cream sandwich from the brioche breads we bought. This Wall's ice-cream block has candy gummies inside with different flavors.

Maison Kayser Breakfast Delivery

I love the French breads from Maison Kayser and now there is actually breakfast delivery from 8am in the morning. I bought a breakfast box of mini croissants with different types of fillings.

There is fresh juice, I ordered guava nectar that is actually a fruit juice mix for myself, a slice of salmon quiche and a slice of paris brest (praline & hazelnut cream) also for myself. 

2 oranginas that got changed to san pellegrino orange, croque monsieur, chicken pesto baquette, apple tatin & lava choc cake.

2 small loaves of pound cake in lemon & orange earl grey to share. The breakfast box of mini croissants are really the best part of this entire home delivery, LeJus as well!

Saveur Restaurant Supper Delivery

This friendly French restaurant located @ Purvis Street serves French & Singaporean cuisine, including house-made artisan ice-cream pints. Everyone comes here for the duck confit and signature aglio olio pasta that I didn't order this time around.

I ordered the 70% chocolate cake (S$15) & NY cheesecake (S$15) with a pint of bluepea vanilla black salt ice-cream (S$15).

Creamy lobster bisque (S$22) that was really thick with a rich seafood taste, I almost think there's salted egg yolk in there. Clear butter clam broth (S$18) with the decadent taste of butter in consommé, something about comfort food in there. Crispy calamari without dipping sauce (S$18)? Could have been from the supermarket frozen section.

Foie gras in fruits (S$28) that was pretty good stuff, worth ordering. Mushroom carbonara pasta (S$26) that is double the price of the signature Saveur pasta, no carbonara here just regular pasta.

Da Paolo Pizza & Pasta

I used to love this place for the authentic Italian food but nowadays its going the way of Japanese Izakaya. My order of Pasta Carbonara, Prosciutto Pizza, Dough Balls, Molecola and Tiramisu.

The pasta carbonara is really rich & creamy in a bright yellow colour, however the bacon tastes like bak kwa and its really light on garlic almost none at all.

The Prosciutto Pizza uses black forest ham and not prosciutto! Almost no tomato sauce base but its still delicious though. Dough balls with marinara sauce.

Molecola is a blend of ginger beer and cola, never tried it before and its pretty good, nice bottle too. Tiramisu is classic. 

Sakae Sushi order again to try the new platters for sashimi and torched sushi, around $25.90 each and its still really good. 

This order almost didn't arrive coz Sakae run out of sashimi, arrived a few hours late instead. Sashimi was still nice and cool.
