With the availability of farmed mussels in Singapore, this mollusc has become a very affordable snack/meal food. With just $1 or $2, you can make a big pot for the whole family/party.
Wash the mussels once or twice, until the water runs clear. Drop the pile into a pot with water and add just a splash of vinaigrette salad dressing (any kind you have in the fridge), that's how I do it. If you want to get fancy, use white wine instead.
