Valentino looks like it has a set of dress patterns for all its collections. The high collar, long sleeve, full skirt look that screams antique classic but updated with a twist.
Only this season the prints used are dots and lines (sea urchin?), darker botanicals and colour block quilt that point to a more rural, low-key look that Fashion Houses seem to favor these days.
What's noteworthy this season are the kaftan style dresses and botanical print fur coats.
Valentino Menswear weaves another kind of down home look, featuring Native American prints & colours.
A big comfy coat with traditional Native pattern, is just soo heartwarming.
