Since Raf Simons took over Dior, the clothes have lesser drama and more emphasis on detailed construction. The classic black suit is reworked in feminine silhouettes, followed by mermaid tops and simple dresses with surprises like neon yellow lining.
Lovely multi-dimensional fabric add to that illusion of moving water, introducing a calmer form of drama into its clothes.
To me, this is the dress du jour, a mix of that tailoring and drama.
Dior Homme S/S 2013 features that smart-looking navy blue in all its clothes, mixed up with white.
