Java Detour

New caffeine joint in town that I have yet to try until now. Their classic ice blended is the black & white (black chocolate and white chocolate coffee ice blended) and features Mrs Field's cookies in their cookie ice blended and in singles.

So I have to say their coffees are really strong, more on coffee and less of the other stuff they put in. Guaranteed to keep you awake for the day.

I tried a creme brulee cake that was ok, pretty presentation and flavours there but it was dry and a little chewy (too much egg maybe?). There is quite a variety of cakes and pastries to choose from but only 2 hot pastries and 1 hot soup available, so not much of a lunch stop for shoppers unless you are a busy worker bee aiming for a quick bite.

The location is pretty good though as it is next to the MBS taxi stand. So if you are waiting for a called cab or need to grab a drink before getting in line for the taxi, this is the place you'll be.
