Twinings Tea Set

Finally! I have been entering Twinings Tea contests for a while now, I think I've tried all the flavours. I am such a big tea drinker and have yet to own a wood box full of tea, and from such a classic English brand too.

Lancome Le Lipstique

Lancome Lip Colouring Stick with brush sits between traditional Lip Liner and Lipstick. It's a soft, creamy, waterproof pencil that colours the lips wonderfully. The brush on the other end of the pencil is for blending or applying more lipstick/lipgloss. 

It's like a lip liner because you have to draw it on and it provides long wearing colour on the lips that won't wear out or bleed quickly.

It's like a lipstick because it has wonderful colour and a creamy formula. People who find lip glosses sticky will also like this product. I like to put some lip balm over this to get that same moisturized feel.

Available in 8 shades, mine here is Alpine Glow for a soft peachy pink natural look.

Paddington's House of Pancakes

Paddington bear has nothing to do with this place. In the same spirit of adventure, you can find pancakes from all over the world here and its all delicious. From buckwheat galettes to choc chip pancakes, it isn't just about all day breakfasts with sweet/savory dishes, starters and mains.

 The best reviews are for this Nice crepe, its good.

Favorite order here is Classic Buckleberry, the fluffy pancakes are good.

Realized Benefits from My Sewing Project

This is the realized payoff to sewing all those clothes - salvaging old clothing. Not just changing a broken zip or missing buttons, although those things no longer distress me. Its about making my old clothes still work for me now. 

Clothes with ripped parts (e.g. holes) or stained (e.g. hair dye) get a second lease of life through cutting and re-attaching in new ways. I suggest you collect all discarded items and do it in a single effort, its much easier that way.

Jenny Packham Spring/Summer 2016

UK designer Jenny Packham starts the year off in her signature English Romance look. You often see her clothes on British Roses like the Duchess of Cambridge, her sis Pippa, Cara Delevingne, Emily Blunt and the list goes on.

This season's bridal collection is inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

  Jenny Packham also has a ready-to-wear collection and this season its all about flowers.

Promptly spent it on Build-A-Bear's My Little Pony soft toy. I really couldn't decide between Star Wars, Lalaloopsy or this and it came down to the My Little Pony soundtrack that plays when its cutie mark is pressed.

Revlon Lip Color

My mother's favorite cosmetics brand Revlon, its affordable and dependable.

I picked up something special for her over Christmas - Moisture Stay Lip Color 5 pack + FOC Super Lustrous lipstick. It's supposed to be the most hydrating and nourishing product for the lips, of course the slim gold packaging and mentholated formula doesn't hurt. This version is exclusive to airports duty free counters, part of Revlon's Unforgettable Journeys series.

Revlon's latest product is ColorStay Moisture Stain, that lipstick + lipgloss combination we all love in YSL Vernis a Levres.
