Philosophy Vanilla Birthday Cake Shower Gel/Bubble Bath/Shampoo

I absolutely adore Philosophy's range of dessert scented lip balms, 3-in-1 shower gels and moisturizers. Out of all the desserts, my favorite is Vanilla Birthday Cake. They make other good things too, but I am not interested in those products. 

If you are trying to lose weight by eating less, you should definitely get some of these dessert scented items as I feel absolutely stuffed every time I shower in it's rich filling scents. Whenever I feel like taking a nibble, I apply some of that lip gloss and feel like I've eaten a whole slice of cake. Same goes for post-dinner cravings, I apply some dessert scented moisturizer and am fine. 

New Moon Muar Otah

Muar Otah is a spicy fish pate that has chunks of fish meat inside, it's my favorite kind of otah really and I can eat any brand's version as I don't have to drive all the way to Malaysia for this.

From a gourmand perspective, its soo much fancier than plain old fish pate. Here, Singapore's No.1 frozen Muar Otah is from New Moon and made from mackerel fish, $4.50.

Gift Bags

I am not one for gift wrapping, unless its Christmas and the stores have it readily available in the season's signature looks. I usually buy something from the store, remove the price tag and hand the entire paper bag over to its recipient. It's sincere and unpretentious that doesn't scream I am trying too hard.

I have been shopping around for custom gift packaging for my handmade knits for a while now, since I saw Bakerella's post back in 2013. I can confirm that nobody makes these for you unless you are a celebrity or brand.

A really sweet alternative is Daiso. $2 for gift bag, $2 for giftwrap tissue, $2 for stickers, $2 for card. Total $8 per gift, that may seem like quite a bit until you realize supermarkets & craft stores charge at least double that.

H&M also sells gift boxes in packs of 4 @ $9.90. It's a tight squeeze for clothing items but just nice for accessories.

Coach Spring/Summer 2015

With Coach, it's all about bags. This season in their Mens collection, they introduce the campus backpack! Roomy enough to fit all your books, so finally now we have something to gift the boys in our life.

Coach Womens introduces basic neons this season. So there are totes and messenger bags in plain neons, in addition to the shoes and accessories.

Coach Womenswear takes inspiration from american casual wear with a monster mascot I can't decide if its a bobcat or imaginary animal. So there are bell bottoms, mini skirts and hairy furcoats (even in leopard).

$50 Valore Voucher

I won a $50 Valore voucher from Coca-Cola. Valore is a Challenger house brand that makes IT accessories like power banks, earphones, speakers etc. You need to buy a $30 Challenger membership that's good for 2 years in order to qualify for the ValuClub prices on its goods that can go up to 70%.

Today I was split between a Valore noise cancellation bluetooth headset and a Valore powerbank + Torchlight. There were soo many accessories I wanted like the snail speakers for phones with no intercom, calculators and even travel plugs in candy colours.

 In the end, the power bank won. I also got this pink hp stand to prop up my phone with that is totally useless as it doesn't stick to anything and keeps popping off.

Decleor Hydra Floral Moisturizing Cream

Part of Decleor's Aromessence collection, this fresh floral bouquet cream, is a deep rich moisturizer that is easily absorbed by the skin, delivering moisture continuously. Everytime I open and use this, I feel like I am receiving a fresh floral bouquet. At least in the beginning, the scent tapers off mid-way through this jar. $79 for 50ml.
