 I bought something online even though I know I shouldn't have, the Marc Jacobs Katie bracelet in "rock lobster", yes that's what the designer named this colour. It was the only thing in my size, so there!

Other uses for Photoframes

Using photoframes for something other than putting in photos. This is a quick and fun idea, make a shopping list for the kitchen or a to do list for your office.

Cut a piece of craft paper to fit inside the frame.

Paste or write out the header "Shopping List" or "To Do".

Insert the piece of paper into the photoframe and you can write on the glass surface with a marker pen (non-permanent of course). Something pretty and reusable you can hang on the wall or stand on a side table. Beats writing on scraps of paper around the house.

Insert recipe cards into photoframes, it can left as is in the kitchen and replaced with a photo later on. I made some recipe cards using my scrapbooking software and printed it out.

Old-school way of personalizing a photoframe gift is to develop some of your best photos and slot it in. These photos are from my trip to Europe and I will be gifting them to the people I went with.

Chanel Luggage

Trying to get your hands on a piece of Chanel Luggage has a level of difficulty reserved for fashion watchers and industry bigwigs. There isn't a permanent collection, just random pieces that Karl Lagerfeld decides to send down the runway. So if one of these pieces turn up again in the resale market, it gets snapped up immediately. I think it's the hardcore fans that are fueling this insatiable demand.

 I do think the pieces are very fashion forward and black always travels well.

I guess I can see myself with the roll-on luggage below, but I definitely won't be checking it in.

Bento Box Tools

Ever wanted to make those cute Bento Boxes for your kids lunch, I know my sis has as does every other mom out there. Cute food makes for happy children and maybe spur them on to finish their food.

 Firstly, you need to find a really cute lunch box. I love this Japanese 3 layer box where the top layer turns over into a bowl.

Cutters in both big to tiny sizes to cut sandwiches, fruits and vegetables into shapes.

Presses to stamp patterns on your food.

Food moulds to press your rice/mochi into shape, some of these moulds are microwaveable to boil eggs into shape.

Silicon containers to hold different types of food in 1 lunch box.

Or just use these cute plastic food separators.

Disposable miniature containers to hold soya sauce or any other sauce your meal calls for.

Patterned plastic toothpicks to hold sandwiches together or cherry tomatoes on top of food.

 Colorful food wrappers to wrap cake pops, lollipops or even rice balls.

My favorite bento box tool, seaweed face punches. The negatives can be used as well. 

La-Tweez

The last word in tweezers, I am now a big big fan of La-Tweez. I have been plucking my eyebrows since I was 14 and have tried soo many different brands all these years, La-Tweez is the culmination of all the features I want and need in a tweezer. The proof is in the pudding as you will be hard pressed to find a set to buy, it is sold out online.

XiMenDing Taiwan Cuisine

Best of Taiwan cuisine, at least that's how I see it. XiMenDing offers famous Taiwan snacks and dishes in addition to the usual Chinese food.

I had the Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup that was deliciously rich in herbs and a hint of chili oil.

Mango puree on almond pudding, a nice cold dessert to end my meal.
