For larger cross-stitches, there are so many symbols that it is easy to lose track. So I usually put the symbol I am working on a post-it. Especially helpful if you are the type who has long breaks between each sewing session.

Peking Duck
Mom's birthday dinner at Jumbo. Although it is a seafood restaurant, it serves some amazing roast meats, that we were there for as my mom loves her peking duck. The chef cuts the skin of the duck with a little fat and meat in each bite and wraps it in crepes with hoisin sauce and spring onions. The combination is so simple yet addictive.

JDMIS classes
Been attending some talks at JDMIS. Quite interesting to pass the time with but would prefer a proper qualification class. I guess that's why the trade is by apprenticeship only.
