Flash Tattoos

Flash Tattoos are really jewellery tattoos in metallic gold colour, available on Luxola.com. It's much cheaper than actual 24kt gold stickers and a great alternative to real gold jewellery.

Most of the designs are done up to look like real jewellery pieces, with rose gold and silver tones as well as black or turquoise accents.

Wing Stop

This American chicken wing place serves its wings bone-in or boneless, tossed in my choice of over a dozen different flavors. Everyone gets takeaway coz its like zhi char for your family dinner.

My favorite is the Louisiana dry rub that has no sauce so its easier to eat and generously flavored with garlic. The latest is Mango Habanero that is sweet with a real fiesty kick.

That same chicken and choice for sauce is also available as a burger. The menu offers chicken tenders served with dip and several variations of fries. I saw everyone eating the yummy fries and it really looks good but too substantial for a side.

3 Plus Size Dresses

Another set of plus size clothes, this time its a wrap dress. After I made the first wrap dress in gold, I decided to simplify and just make a v-neck bodice instead for the 2 remaining dresses.

It's a short dress with fluttery sleeves. Cotton lining so this is wearable in our weather.

The second dress is made from hot pink batik (special request from the wedding party).

I got this from Arab Street and they only make 1 roll of each design, mostly in yellow. Not sure why there is soo much yellow and brown batik around.

It looks like 2 dresses but is really only 1 dress, one side is the front and the other side is the lining. This way there are no visible seams and the dress is entirely reversible.

I like the red zigzag to show on the sleeves.

The third dress is made from black satin and black coral sequins (also for the wedding party) that can hopefully be worn on more than 1 occasion. All the aunties love the coral sequins that would also make a very sexy Venom outfit for Comic Con.

Instead of a wrap front, I sewed the bodice together.

The final dress that is really heavy, at least its completely covered up.

Yankee Candle Free Market

This bi-annual event for members sees them giving out more free stuff. I didn't know if I wanted another candle or a candle warmer lantern. When I got to the shop @ 11am there was a long Q and only a few items left, votives and votive holders. So I got myself a handpainted crackled glass pumpkin votive holder. Midnight Jasmine medium jars 1-for-1 sale.

Korean BBQ & Chicken @ Tanjong Pagar Road

Tanjong Pagar road is a row of shop-houses next to Maxwell Market. Originally filled with wedding boutiques and gastro bars, every newly wed couple and their family has been to this area before.

For Sunday dinner, my family decided to have Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) at Kko Kko Na Ra restaurant coz of the huge seating area (2nd & 3rd floors) to accommodate the whole family.

Fried chicken platter, army stew, seafood pancake, bibimbap, citrus salad.

We took a walk down the row of shops to Fluffy Desserts, that specializes in snow ice.

Almost all of us had the Mango Tango snow ice that comes in mini (for 1 person) or regular (for 2 to share). We also ordered Horlicks snow ice, Chendol snow ice, Strawberry snow ice.

More finger food for the kiddies who were not done with their dinner.
