Tangs 12% rebate always attracts a crowd. Free beauty samples, PWP, 12% rebates. I love the foodstuffs from Tangs and got last year's Christmas teabags as well as the Salted Caramel instant hot chocolate.

The rebates are enough to buy some CNY goodies like bakkwa, pineapple tarts and spicy shrimp rolls. PWP items include bird's nest and abalone, two things I really need now.

Takeaway sushi & sashimi! Edamame is the only veggie accompaniment here. Peach liquor enough for two.

Love letters with spicy shrimp salt (hei bee hiam), quite different from the usual coconut love letters I usually have at this time of the year.

Trying out Japanese veggie juices for the first time, everyone says it's sweet and can be substitutes for soup. 700ml like wine bottles.

CNY Preparations - ZTP

Stopped by the TCM mart online to pick up ginseng tea and loose ginseng for cooking. Cannot believe I am back to traditional herbal remedies.

Some pre-packed herbal soups, these are really common at TCM marts nowadays. Not all the combinations taste good, but I guess its good for something.

Bought some dried Chinese mushrooms, dried scallops and dried herbs. These were the only variety available for sale at the moment.

Old Pine Vinegar, it's Chinese pine tree and not the Christmas tree version. Not sure how it tastes yet but it costs almost $50!

CNY Preparations - Wholesome Harvest

Ordering drinks and snacks from a local health foods store, there's a huge wine list but I didn't get any of the alcohol at all.

Organic cookies that are star-shaped, really dense and filling. Fruit chips in individual portion sized servings, just 8gm.

Fresh mixed fruit juices in 250ml jars, same price as Maison Kayser. Fizzy drinks in ginger beer, rhubarb apple, lemon mint.

Noce D'Oro walnuts that I am going to keep as seeds coz it's the same price as regular seeds.
