Mutton Sandwiches with Leggo's sauce

Mutton has a strong taste so it needs an awesome sauce to make delicious mutton burgers. A good and simple recipe comes from combining 3 of Leggo's pre-bottled sauces. Mix 1 teaspoon of each and spoon over mutton patties for a gourmand meal @home.

                                1) Stir Through ricotta, spinach, pecorino cheese

                                2) Bolognese chunky pasta sauce

                                3) Pesto with traditional basil

I used Prego pasta sauce as its already in my fridge.

Alice + Olivia was started by Stacey Bendet in 2002, just over a decade later it has won over legions of fans and an enviable celebrity clientele. Her clothes are really commercial and wearable, that's all I can say.

This season the clothes take their cue from the desert with sandy tones and aztec motifs.

California Fitness Platinum Membership (1 Year)

1 year all access membership to California Fitness Gyms in Singapore, worth $1,545 ($1,653.15 including gst), the prize from Quaker Oats after I bought their new range of individually wrapped cookies. The cookies are really nice (healthy too!) so this prize is a bonus. I joined California Fitness before and it offers comprehensive (beginner to advance) training modes to get a serious workout. Everyone will be pumped to know the new classes are all dance focused (Jazzercise, Zumba, Latina, Street, K-pop). 

Tried to sell it but no takers, maybe its time for me to pick up dancing. Let's see ... buy a whole new exercise wardrobe, CBTL card...

Shu Uemura started the whole cleansing oil craze, it was a liquid oil-based makeup remover that has now expanded into 6 different types for brightening, balancing, refining, pore refining, ultimate 8, premium chamomile. I like to drop by the counter as there are always samples.

Anyone new to this brand needs to get their 3 signature products: 

(1) Fake Eyelashes (there are new collections every few months)

(2) Cleansing Oil, there are so many different types to choose from

(3) Eyelash Curler (its the perfect size and shape for smaller Asian eyes)

Precious Moments Cookies

I can't believe I haven't tried these ice-cream tasting cookies with dried raspberry fruit! 2 boxes for $10 @ PreciousThots. The boxes are ready for gifting, you can write your well wishes behind, but I'm keeping it all for myself. Inside it's individually wrapped for portion control.

Farm Chicken Cross Stitch

This measures 50cm x 25cm, 11 count Aida. It has 17 colours, 1 half stitch colour, 3 back stitch colours. Took a while to figure out as the instructions are not exact.

 It's called 农家鸡 or farm chickens. I took about a week to do this cartoony design that has an embossed feel to it (because of the full, half and no stitch parts).

Altuzarra brings the resort into the city this season like we've never seen it done before. Those tie-dyed work separates reflecting the deep blues of the ocean, fiery orange sunsets and lush green fields.

OMG! $1k!

I won the grand prize of $1,000 in NTUC Fairprice vouchers from buying bug spray, I almost cannot believe it coz I use up lots of it all the time.

 Combat Insect Repellents come in pellets, aerosol cans and disposable traps so whatever your preference is there is a product to keep your home pest free. It's new product is an aroma-oil anti-fly spray in a bright pink canister, it smells really nice like air freshener.

The History of Whoo

Premium Korean beauty brand The History of Whoo is now available in Singapore, with a counter at Tangs Orchard and online webshop. Created by LG based on ancient imperial skincare, the prices are on par with other premium skincare brands (e.g. $125 for lotion). I am really in love with the oriental packaging that won't look out of place on a traditional rosewood dresser.

Takeaway counter of Kebabs and Burritos. Afterall, isn't it the same thing, meat wrapped in veges and sauce.

 I like the mix of sauces and veges you can get here, mint & cucumber yogurt in my burrito or black beans in my kebab, the mix is absolutely delicious.

Forever Friends Cross Stitch

Forever Friends cross stitches are sold @ Spotlight, along with syndicated Tatty Teddy, Dr Seuss, Disney and Precious Moments. My first time buying an official cartoon cross stitch that retails $44.90 for a 5" x 5" picture! Once you get over the price, it's soo cute!

I took 3 days to complete this one, the outline that comes last is the most difficult as it doesn't follow the aida fabric holes exactly.
