After being re-admitted into the hospital two more times, I am now back at home. Changing the pace of life to really slow and am going to take it easy in the months to come. Just realized the sun rises at 6.30 am every morning.

Seeing 👀 my total hospital bills for the first time. Absolutely shocked but I've always known its expensive to get medical care. Medisave, insurance and savings should settle it. It's $1,000 a night in "C" class ward.
Never cared much for hospital food, was eating out most of the time I was in hospital. But now the second time around I appreciate it and its actually quite tasty, very agreeable with my stomach.
At the hospital pharmacy trying to buy a hair wig from their vendor. Rather than a hijab (I'm not malay) or hat (I don't live in cool weather), I guess my only other option is this, any ideas? Finally, had it ordered and sent to me, costs under $500 a piece.
I thought my aches and pains were due to the chemotherapy, but the medical dietitian is recommending a change in my daily food intake to include foods that can help me like berries and bananas. Maybe I should get an acai bowl everyday for breakfast.
Almost every doctor appointment has blood tests. Surprisingly the process is relatively painless with the PICC Line. It took a medical procedure to get it installed into my arm when I first arrived at the hospital. The most difficult part is the time spent in the waiting room.
Finally removing my surgery wound dressings. Cannot wait for the medical plugs to go to. It's been more than 2 months since my surgery and the wounds are completely healed. Plan for stitches to go next year.
They call it Rehabilitation Programme coz it's not only physiotherapy but also support group activities to get me back to my normal life. I thought I could just do with walks around the neighborhood or park, but I guess having similar people to talk too helps as well.
Making shopping trips to the pharmacy every other day to get medical supplies. Cannot believe how many things I need, at least the items are in stock *whew*. Also taking the opportunity to get them to buy snacks and drinks for me as well.
Made my first trip back to the hospital clinic after discharge. Quite troublesome and time-consuming but I guess it's gonna be like that for the next 6 months at least. Thanking my family for making time to accompany me.
Finally left the hospital and am home. Adjusting my home life for now at least. The follow-up medical appointments for the next 6 months are starting to look like a part-time job.
Got moved to a new ward coz I caught an infection. Started chemotherapy this week. Doctors said no more TCM for me including ginseng and bird's nest. Living on meal replacement drinks.
My weight dropped drastically but still not back to what it was before. Instead of whole meals, I've been snacking on crackers. Lots of wound dressing changes and some new stitches. Found myself in need of sensitive skin soap and moisturizer.
Time really passes fast, thought I would be out of hospital by now but it's not the case.
New flowers and new balloons.
Changing to a different hospital for the specialisations not available where I was. More medical tests and procedures.
Hospitalised due to health complications. Lots of scans and procedures to find out what's wrong.
Chanel makeup gift set from I don't know where. It has mascara, eyeliner, lipstick and two perfumes in an in-between size.
Temperature colour changing lipstick that the TV actresses use in Asia. Nicely sealed packaging and the lipstick case looks good. Comes with lip plumping serum.
China cosmetics, there's lip balm, lipstick, blush, sunscreen, mask, hand cream and sugar scrubs that look like sweets (don't be fooled).
Lolita Lempicka le Parfum 100ml that came with a free gift set. I have been buying the perfume samplers all this time and love the scents as well as packaging.
Baylis & Harding Christmas handwashes in < Iced Winterberry > & < Frosted Mistletoe >.
Whole bunch of Sanrio stuff both official and un-official merchandise. Including this Hello Kitty vape bracelet that's a portable humidifier I can wear on my wrist.
USB cable tester, multi USB cable, Christmas light-up ornament and watermelon soft toy.
