Bazin

Full of European bistro savoir faire, the lamps are a little crooked though. This mid-priced eatery serves classic European bistro food like ribeye steaks. However, it fills its seats on weekdays with hungry customers by means of a super duper cheap lunch set.

One half of the bistro opens out to the bay, but I declined this seat for one directly under the aircon vent so I can keep cool under Singapore's hot & humid weather. Still had a nice view of the palm trees swaying in the breeze next to the bay.

My $15 sandwich was really tasty. The chef didn't skim on quality ingredients and cooking standards even at these low prices. Fries were extra crispy, yum.
