Truffle Brunch @ Senso

* Don't go, problematic PRC staff employed at this establishment
*updated 5 Aug 2013* Should be fine by now

In a 1 day only event, the black summer truffle is introduced to Senso's sunday brunch menu. Reservations are required as the place is fully booked. Hey, it's good value for money - an appetizer and dessert buffet table, free flow of prosecco, juice and a cheese section with a parmesan cheese wheel for you to carve out what you need.

Then there were the truffled mains - crispy skin pan-fried chicken with truffle sauce, leek fondue with truffles, tagliolini pasta with white asparagus and truffles. My favourite was actually the foie gras with mango chutney and homemade buttered brioche that had me melting. The rest you can miss, seriously.

Desserts were delicious, I had a not sweet tiramisu, freshly made profiterole and a fantastic creme brulee.

The lovely staff got me a shot of espresso to ward off the drowsiness induced from the warm humid weather while they called me a cab home.
